She: okay, but why don't we celebrate men's day with the similar zeal ?
Me:  What do you mean ?
She: Actually, Women's day reminds me of gender-inequality in our society. If women are respected only because they belong to specific gender, its a straight insult to them. I want society to respect me for my work, contribution, fulfillment of responsibilities & my behavior towards others. Respect the person and not the gender.
